Hi there, I am a licensed clinical psychologist, invested in helping people of all backgrounds become agents of wellness in their own lives. My practice aim is to foster resilience in the midst of distress by building thriving relationships with self and others in today’s ever-changing world.

Stressful experiences impact our mental and physical wellbeing, creating belief systems that become core to who we are. In this way, our sense of self is deeply influenced by our experiences, and as humans, we often seek soothing in different ways— some helpful and some not. For some, becoming grounded and creating a home internally may require a need to understand their own thoughts and feelings with more clarity. For others, a more intense behavior change may be required first. Whether you’re seeking a space to sort through confusing thoughts and feelings or a structured approach to major life change, I’ve got you covered.

In addition to general training in strengthening the sense of self through therapy, I have sought specialty training in the areas of trauma & recovery, adaptive coping, and relational wellness. My training background includes CBT-Based Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, and specific trauma reprocessing therapies, such as EMDR and Havening™. To fortify my work, I have also received advanced training in working with compulsive behaviors, substance & multiple addiction, issues of sexual health, and disordered eating. I believe relational health and mindful living are essential parts of wellness, and I am equipped to work with a full range of presenting problems and barriers to holistic thriving.

Beyond initial symptom relief, I aim to empower individuals to generate awareness of their physical bodies, defining and enacting their own healthy boundary systems from a rooted place. In all of my work, I use a relational, collaborative approach to provide personalized care according to each person’s particular life and context. I am passionate about working with individuals from all different identity backgrounds, standing as an ally and advocate for members of all marginalized communities.

I received my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, following completion of an APA-accredited doctoral residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I am also a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), qualified to assist folks entering recovery as well as traumatized partners as they reconstruct emotional and sexual safety after betrayal. Additionally, I obtained a Masters of Theology (MAT) from Fuller Theological Seminary, which informs both my quest to make meaning of the human experience and my clinical treatment of individuals recovering from spiritual and religious trauma. These varied avenues of study have equipped me to take a reflective stance on holistic personhood and the many ways that wellness can be defined in a modern world.
